Doughboy's Big Bout

Hello all....

Sean a.k.a. Doughboy of the Master Racers is boxing this Friday at the Freret St Gym!

Cost: $15=get in + all you can drink....wheee!!!!

Time: Meet up at Friar Tuck's (5130 Freret St) about 6:30 this Friday July 30th. First match starts at 7, not sure where Doughboy is in the line up and neither did the gym when I called...

It should be lots of fun...and Sean will love the support...come out and play people!!!

I don't know Doughboy too well, but I'm a huge fan of the sweet science. I'll be there. I'll probably drag some non-KOCC'ers there too.

I've never seen a boxing match up close, so I'm very intrigued. What better time to introduce myself to the Sweet Science live than to be cheering on a fellow kickballer. Count me IN!

He fought bravely, and got a some good shots in, but got caught in the first round. Back to back straights that would have dropped a rhino. I think the other guy didn't take kindly to a bunch of kickballers booing him at the intro. And the 15 pound difference didn't help either.

I'd love to do this again. It was fantastic.

Next time we need to pool our $ to get Damon to put his mask on, climb to the top rope and jump off. I could hand him a steel chair to KO the ref or something.
